The First Bible Stories of Jewish Sexual Identities

Conversations at the Vilna is a series of spirited discussions around the Vilna Shul’s old study table with local scholars and authors about topics relevant to Jewish identity. This conversation on the subject of “The First Bible Stories of Jewish Sexual Identities” will be led by Lori Lefkovitz. Lori is the Ruderman Professor and Director of Jewish Studies at Northeastern University and founding director of Kolot: The Center for Jewish Women and Gender Studies, the first such center at a rabbinical seminary. She is the author of “In Scripture: The First Stories of Jewish Sexual Identities.”
