Shabbat Service Leaders Academy
Thursday, April 29, 2010, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

HAVE YOU EVER….
…looked at a Shabbat service leader and thought, “Hey, I could do that!”?
…thought it might be fun to lead services but didn’t know how?
…led services before but want to hone your skills?
…wanted to share your favorite prayer melodies with your HOH friends?
Now’s your chance!
If you answered yes (or even maybe) to any or all of these questions, you should come to the Havurah on the Hill Service Leader Academy on April 29th at 7pm at the Vilna Shul. Veteran service leaders, Malka Benjamin and Deborah Melkin will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about leading a Friday night service at the Vilna. You will have the opportunity to master the melodies, get tips on how to energize the congregation, and have the opportunity to practice your skills on the Vilna Shul Bima. Refreshments will be served.

If you are interested in learning to be a service leader but cannot attend the Academy on April 29th, send us a message to try to find an alternative time to meet.
