Live Music! Dancing! Megillah! Games! Prizes! Hamantaschen! Food! Drink!

Celebrate Purim at Havurah on the Hill’s tango-themed Purim party at the Vilna Shul.  Listen to live music with Argentine tango singer Carolina Winograd, followed by a performance from The Heartsleeves.  Tango dance instructors will be on-hand to give a tango lesson to those who would like to learn to dance to Carolina’s music.

Costumes are strongly recommended and prizes will be awarded to the best tango-themed costume and the best non-tango costume.  Play carnival games to win prizes.  Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served, including plenty of hamantaschen.  Parking is available for the discounted price of $5 at the Charles River Plaza Garage.

Schedule:
7:45 p.m. – Havdalah
8:00-9:00 p.m. – Megillah reading
9:00-11:00 p.m. – Party

*Havurah on the Hill adheres to a policy of not permitting money to be a barrier to community participation. If you truly cannot afford the cost of the event, pay what you can afford.
