Havurah on the Hill Monthly Young Adult Kabbalat Shabbat -- A Modern Day Dreyfus Affair

Friday, November 18

$10 Suggested Donation.

Join Havurah on the Hill for their monthly non-denominational, egalitarian Friday night services for Jews in their 20s and 30s in the Boston area featuring special guest speaker Robert Meeropol.

Who is he? He is the son of American citizens Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who, in the 1950's, were convicted of and executed for spying for the Soviet Union. Based on recently declassified documents, Robert and his brother believe their mother was framed and are preparing a petition to send to Obama asking him to exonerate her. Join us to hear about this modern day Dreyfus Affair.

Havurah on the Hill is the young adult initiative of the Vilna and hosts a monthly non-denominational, egalitarian minyan and special holiday celebrations for Jews in their 20s and 30s in the Boston area. Festivities begin with an informal pre-nosh with wine and veggies. We then move up to the sanctuary for an egalitarian Shabbat service led by members of our community, followed by a discussion with our guest speaker, before finally heading back downstairs for a relaxed, inviting kosher buffet dinner. New faces are always welcome at Havurah on the Hill, so bring your friends.
