take four weeks and learn to read Hebrew
This program provides the tools to read any Hebrew text (Bible, Rabbinic, and Modern). Students will be taught the Hebrew Aleph-Bet (consonants and vowels), some basic vocabulary and grammar, and interesting facts about the history of the Aleph-Bet. Students should be able to commit to four 2-hour sessions and 15-20 minutes daily of home practice. Wednesdays July 28 - August 18 1:00 - 3:00 at the Vilna Shul (18 Phillips St Boston) Class fee: $108 payable to Rabbi Sam Seicol; additional donation to the Vilna Shul welcome.
