Event Description:

Join Havurah on the Hill for a lay-led, non-denominational Kabbalat Shabbat service in Vilna Shul’s historic sanctuary.  After the service we will hear from Tamar Katz and then enjoy a kosher buffet style dinner. Tamar Katz is a three-time Israeli national figure skating champion in the ladies singles division. Tamar trains at the Boston Skating Club in Boston, MA with Peter Johansson and Mark Mitchell. She was the first lady to qualify a spot for Israel in ladies figure skating for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
